DATA LIBRARY
A Home for All Your Lake's Data
- Comprehensive record of your lake’s health and safety, spanning 80 unique data points across Physical, Chemical, Biological, Watershed, Hydrology, and Access categories — helping subscribers understand where efforts currently stand on testing and monitoring for parameters of concern
- Time-stamped tracking confirms when each parameter was last measured and what the result was — from simple observations like ice freeze/thaw dates to complex data such as species dynamics or PFAS concentrations
- Wide-ranging parameters capture both long-term drivers such as land use around the lake and detention time, as well as seasonal risks like nutrient pollution, sedimentation, and biological threats
- Clear parameter status — if a field is blank it means either (1) the parameter is unnecessary for your lake , (2) it has never been tested or monitored, or (3) data exist but have not yet been incorporated into your lake’s Data Library

DATA SOURCES
Access Historic Reports
- Centralized archive for every study, report, and survey ever conducted on your lake
- Reference value — while key data is extracted for active use, full historic documents are preserved for context, validation, and long-term trend analysis
- Organized categories include Photography, Lab Results, Satellite, Drone, Field Data, Real-time Monitoring, and Historical Reports

DATA PARTNERS
Partners With Shared Goals
- Summary of partners — showcases current and past partners including public sector agencies, non-profit groups, academic institutions, businesses, and individual contributors
- Why it matters — safeguarding lake health and safety requires collaboration; no single organization can do this alone, and Lake Pulse relies on the strength of its partners
- How to partner — to become a partner for a lake, please contact the Lake Admin; if no admin exists, reach out directly to Lake Pulse

EVENTS RECORD
The History of Your Lake
- What’s included — a chronological record of all projects and initiatives impacting the lake’s health and safety, such as property developments coming online, the founding of a lake association or HOA, new laws or regulations, permits for algaecide or other chemical treatments, installation of fountains on smaller lakes, and other notable events
- Why it matters — maintaining a transparent record of lake health and safety activities ensures accountability, builds trust, and provides context for today’s decisions
- Looking ahead — current projects and initiatives are continually added to the Events Record, creating a clear link between today’s challenges and past activity on or around the lake

ANALYTICS HUB
From Data to Decisions
- Explore and interpret data from lab sampling, field testing, real-time monitoring, and surveys through an intuitive interface
- Translate complex science into clarity with tools that turn raw data into actionable insights, requiring no scientific background
- Benchmark and forecast your lake’s health over 5, 10, 20, or even 100 years to connect today’s conditions with long-term outcomes

COMMUNITY HUB
Sharing Made Easy
- Lake Status — plain-language summaries of the lake’s current health and safety, shared by the Lake Admin (if one is assigned). Updates may be posted annually, monthly, or even weekly depending on local needs
- Alerts — timely notifications from the Lake Admin about health or safety risks, sent directly to neighbors and stakeholders by email or text (preferences can be managed in account settings)
